We are on the verge of our twentieth anniversary, which places us in front of nineteen uninterrupted years of cultural activity in the Canary Islands. A time that has allowed us to strengthen a unique and singular festival, deeply rooted in the territory, the evolution of the island population, and that has strengthened very deep ties with the social, cultural, business and artistic fabric of Vallehermoso and La Gomera.

Precisely, in 2005 we undertook from Cauprogss, SL one of the most satisfying professional adventures of our career: the creation of the Atlántico Sonoro Festival. Of course, that beginning was driven by the illusion of developing a cultural and artistic project in Vallehermoso, an essential town in our vital journey because it is, precisely, the territory of our family origins.

However, we were not capable of imagining then that the Atlántico Sonoro Festival was going to become the flagship of our cultural company and that, nineteen editions later, we could boast of maintaining one of the most stable and solid festivals on the cultural scene of the archipelago.

The latter, without a doubt, constitutes the most beautiful and exciting achievement of all these years because, we know, the people of Vallehermoso await a new edition every year. These ties have been forged based on both personal and professional collaborations, since the Festival is not limited to developing its agenda in Vallehermoso, but is nourished by the professional services and resources of the town, so the impact achieved is not only cultural and social, but also decidedly economic.

Once the Festival has been consolidated, in each new edition, we have expanded the agenda to other points in the Canary Islands, with the aim of publicizing the uniqueness of Atlántico Sonoro beyond La Gomera, but also to create a pole of attraction that transports the public potential of other areas and markets towards the rural and decentralized reality of Vallehermoso.

As the years have gone by, Atlántico Sonoro has established the characteristic lines of the Festival, which now makes it possible for us to talk about four fundamental axes: decentralization and rurality; identity (art and memory); diversity as cultural uniqueness and local and territorial development.
